Fatma Alloo was born in Zanzibar and currently spends time between Zanzibar and Dar-es-Salaam. She is the former Chairperson of TAMWA- the Tanzanian Women's Media Assocation.

Sanjay was born and resides in Zanzibar. He completed his A levels at a school in Stone Town. He is currently responsible for maintaining a current list of all resources in the NGORC as well as developing a directory for the use of all NGOs in Zanzibar.
